"Inspiration Sadly Lacking"

A quote from one of my several personalities. I've always set my goals high, my standards higher. But for some reason, today I have nothing to talk about. I'm caught up in my life at Varsity. Same ol', same ol'. I've been waiting for something to print for a good 35 minutes. But who am I kidding? It's not going to print, and no one is going to read this, except sister.

I always say, when in doubt, talk about your self. It even kind of rhymes if you try. You could rap it. Let's talk about me.

The questions that this Blogamajig asks you are stupid. What kind of music do I like? Well... I would say pop, at the moment, but nothing else irritates me more than people who say this. Firstly, pop is not a genre, is it. It is Popular Music, music which is popular and could therefore (theoretically) be from any genre.

So in true GetDownAddy style (rather a style I have decided to immediately create), I will translate this conundrum of life into something understandable in the hope that you can get to know me a bit better.

I like the music thay play on the top 40 shows (most of it). It is in the top 40, it is popular. I also like some rock groups, some country (yes), some alternative, and no 'new' R&B (I reject the new kinda stuff on a solid principle). I enjoy classical music although it is very rarely popular. And I've lost my train of thought. Anyway, my point is that I like different genres and styles within these genres, so I could say I like a particular group or band or whatever, I only like one song from another musician, I only like soandso's second CD. I like Pop. Pop is usually the better music when compared to the weird shite that the 'music fundis' profess is pure. Yes. It's popular because it's GOOD. And if that make's you think I'm a lemming, so be it. GetDownLemming has to get outta here. Psychometrics awaits. Today it's intelligence testing. Maybe I'll learn something, if I can remember where the lecture is.
