My Family Read(s) This

Hello. I was told I'm very verbose in my thingies. Kinky. I think 'thingies' meant blog postings.

As I said. My family read(s) this, so don't post naughty or weird comments. The love potion thing is a question that blogger asks when you do your profile. I updated my profile and now there's something about a dragon on my profile. I didn't want to waste any of my humour (although I might be the only one that gets it), so I put the old one on my blog.

Here is the photo for the day.

Me and other Volunteer Firefighters at Newlands Control when we met the Stormers for some press release, quite a while ago. I look thin... that's cos I am. Not much point to this photo, other than to show off the fact that I'm a firefighter and a "darn good looking one at that". This comment was followed by laughter, so it's probably not sincere. Also, it's nice to have a photo on every post, so sister, I know it's a struggle, but I might run out. Thanks.

Bye the way: Hello Mom and Granny! Is it: "My family read this" or "My family reads this". It's being explained to me at the moment. OK, its not. We're trying to remember from high school.

I need to translate verbose for myself:

verbose
adj : using or containing too many words; "long-winded (or windy) speakers"; "verbose and ineffective instructional methods"; "newspapers of the day printed long wordy editorials"; "proceedings were delayed by wordy disputes" [syn: long-winded, tedious, windy, wordy]

Now that I've added this definition, the person in question is assuring me that 'verbose' is a complement. Ja, right.
