Off to See the Wizard

Good afternoon. You may all be asking the same question: How much time does this guy have? I'll put the answer at the bottom of this post.

My tutorial for research in psychology finished early. Very interesting new topic of research, but this kind of stuff can't ethically or legally be written in a blog, so leave your email address under comments and I'll email it to you. As I was saying, in my excitement I decided to post this. What excitement, you may ask...

I received one of THOSE emails. You know the type: Fwd: FW: fw: re: Fwd: Fwd: FW: Fwd: re: :re Fwd: FW: Interesting
Yes, that was the subject line. And the email goes a little something like this:

On Thursday, May 4, 2006, at two minutes and three seconds after 01:00 AM in the morning, the time and date will be 01:02:03 04/05/06. This will never happen again in your lifetime!

Although, being the extreme scientist that I am, I have found away around the typical NEVER AGAIN in your lifetime slant. There must be a whole bunch of different time zones in the world, so if this kind of thing tickles your fancy, buy your airplane ticket now. You'll probably experience this rare event at least 12 times. You lucky sucker, you.

Here is the photo for the post. I had the option of this or the picture of a dead (aborted baby) which someone I live with sent to me. Some people get a little tense, don't you think.

This is me and sister at the Cliffs of Mohr, Ireland. The spot where Westlife filmed their famous music video. Problem is, we can't remember which song they sang in that damn thing. The comments section awaits for anyone who does. I'll take away the thing that says you have to be a Blogger yourself to comment. It makes the whole process easier.

I thought this photo was a good idea because, in contrast to sending people pictures of dead babies from medical textbooks or wherever, it shows that there are definate boundaries in life which you should not cross. The edge of a cliff being one of them.

And before I forget. Yes, sister. You give me the ticket to England and Barcelona, and I'll be there.

Totsiens, julle. Ek gaan more Durban toe. My tweede vakansie hierdie maand!

Answer: A LOT.
